Yeotown Madeira is a stylish, mindfully designed, intimate space, and certified Agricultural Tourism Hotel. Located on the sunniest, Southwest part of the island in the Arco da Calheta area, each guestroom boasts expansive island views. The property itself is framed by a lovely lush green forest, and right outside our doorstep is the beautiful Levada Nova da Calheta walk in both directions. A perfect backdrop for a luxury wellness retreat experience.
Since throwing open the doors to our new island home in September 2022, we have been curating a medicinal plant garden, and mindful walking path that winds around the abundance of fruit trees and vegetable patches peppered throughout our 5 acre property.
Our Madeiran haven of health is set amongst an organic garden overlooking the ocean, valleys and mountains. During the programme downtime, guests are invited to relax by our lovely pool, inviting hammocks or sun loungers to rest and restore. Our aim is to be a fertile ground for you to unwind, recharge and rejuvenate while becoming more in tune and at ease with the world around you, and within you.

Our Guestrooms…
With a selection of villa rooms, suites, 1 and 2 bedroom lodges, Yeotown Madeira has a variety of guestrooms to choose from to suit your taste and budget. Each one has been interior designed with its own unique style, colours and decor where no two are alike. With names like Peace, Joy, Soul and Courage to name a few, our guestrooms have been designed to represent a welcoming haven in which you can relax while cultivating greater health and wellbeing during your retreat. There is a 10% discount per person for two people sharing a room, suite or lodge. Please note our signature award winning Yeotox retreat is limited to 12 guests maximum per week to insure a personalised, tailored experience. If hiring the space in its entirety for a private rental, the property can comfortably accommodate 21 people on shared basis. Classic Villa Rooms
Joy and Gratitude are our two Classic Villa Rooms which share a spacious bathroom. Both with their own unique style, Gratitude is the smaller of the two however boasts a sun-drenched, large private terrace. Joy is the more spacious of the two classic rooms with sunlight window, and lovely large balcony with garden and pool views. They are separated by a large living room style hallway and a roomy, light bathroom.
GRATITUDE 2850 EUR per person
Our inviting Junior Classic Villa Room is bright and airy with floor to ceiling windowed doors which lead out onto a large, west-facing, private roof terrace enjoying ocean and valley views. A perfect entry level room for a solo traveller, it has a super king size bed. The occupant of this room shares a large, spacious bathroom with its sister Classic Villa Room down the hall.
JOY 2950 EUR per person
Our spacious Classic Villa Room aptly named “Joy”, is a welcoming, bright space that leads onto a large balcony overlooking the gardens and fruit trees. It has a super king size bed, and shares a large, spacious bathroom with our Junior Classic Villa room. Perfect for a solo traveller or couple, can be split into twins beds.
Classic 2 Bedroom Lodge Rooms
Love and Happiness. These are our two Classic Lodge Rooms which make up our 2 bedroom lodge house Peace, named after its peaceful white and wood themed decor with hints of yellow and cerulean ocean blue. The two classic lodge rooms share a large bathroom with walk-in shower. These bright, high ceilinged rooms are similar in size, and lead into a shared large, welcoming living room and kitchen. The lodge itself boasts its own spacious terrace equipped with a hammock to rest post hike while enjoying the beautiful ocean, mountain and valley views. You may book one of the two rooms on their own, or if you are coming with friends/family you may book the entire 2 bedroom lodge privately to share.
LOVE 3050 EUR per person
We just LOVE this charming space, hence why we named it such. Perfectly sized for a solo traveller who is looking for an entry level priced room. With island boho chic touches of bamboo and wood, it shares a bathroom with its sister classic lodge room down the hall. It boasts a large super king size bed, high ceilings, and west facing large window that looks out onto a welcoming array of green from the abundance of plants and trees that surround. This light and bright room is a welcoming space to return to after an invigorating coastal hike, or a nurturing deep tissue massage.
HAPPINESS 3050 EUR per person
How could you not be happy in this bright and light island chic room? With high ceilings, super king size bed and large wardrobe, you can walk out of its floor to ceiling windowed, double doors right onto the expansive lodge terrace. It enjoys a spacious shared living room and kitchen and shares the large bathroom down the hall. Bright and airy, it’s a happy space for the solo traveller looking for a lovely entry level priced room.
Villa Rooms
COURAGE & KINDNESS 3200 EUR per person
These bright and spacious, individually styled, “island boho-chic” rooms, comprise of an en-suite bathroom, and Southwest facing balconies with expansive ocean, valley and mountain views. Super king or twin bed option. Perfect for a solo guest or a couple. Beds can be split into two twin to comfortably accommodate two friends sharing.
Villa Suites
PATIENCE & CREATIVITY 3400 EUR per person
Our stylish suites, Patience and Creativity, are both spacious, en-suite, Southwest facing, bright and airy rooms. The latter suite Creativity, has a laid back island boho chic decor with both a lovely balcony boasting ocean and mountain views, and a large private terrace perfect for lounging and catching up with your favourite book or podcast post hike or massage.
Our Patience suite is located in the Nourish building next to the lodges, and offers a modern, stylish decor with a large living room, spacious bathroom and lovely balcony with expansive views and wonderful sunsets. Both suites are en-suite and have super king size beds which can be split if desired into two twin beds.
Junior Lodge
FORGIVENESS 3500 EUR per person
This spacious 1 bedroom lodge is slightly smaller than our other lodges, however still boasts high ceilings, a bright, airy living room, kitchen and a large private terrace with hammock to soak up the fantastic ocean, mountain views and stunning sunsets. It has a super king sized bed which can be split into two twins for friends sharing and newly refurbished bathroom.
Island Lodges
SOUL & COMPASSION 3650 EUR per person
The largest of our accommodation options, our 1 bedroom lodges are individually styled, both with an island chic feel. Spacious with floor to ceiling windows offering expansive views of the retreat, ocean, valleys and mountains, these two lodges are a perfect refuge for optimising wellness in both body and mind. Both lodges boast large bathrooms, super king size beds (can be split into two twin), and lovely spacious terraces with stunning views.
